Early Morning Sunrise in Algonquin

Winter ice melting over a lake, with a large rock look out.  Algonquin park late March

Finally got around to editing some pictures from Algonquin park this past spring. It has started to become an annual trip for me (2nd year in a row), and what I loved about this year, is that it was polar opposite from last year. This year all the snow was pretty much melted, as you can see here the ice was breaking up, although last year everything was frozen solid and we were walking on this lake! This shot was taken very early morning as the sun was approaching, ice was melting and the rock was just glowing. I love Algonquin and I’m looking forward to a 3rd year of pictures!
